Five-Year Treasury Yield Hits All-Time Low

The yield on the five-year Treasury got down to 0.77% today. That’s the lowest yield ever.

In 1981, the five-year yielded 16.27%. Five years ago, it was close to 5% and 11 months ago, it was going for 2.4%.
