Today’s Jobs Report

The government released the January jobs report this morning. The U.S. economy created 200,000 net new jobs. The unemployment rate stayed at 4.1%. This is the fourth month in a row in which unemployment has been 4.1%. In the last year, average hourly earnings are up 2.9%.
