More Small-Cap Pain

The small-cap sector is once again feeling the pain today. It’s hard to describe just how sharply the market has turned against the little guys. This chart of the relative strength of the Russell 2000 says it all:

The Russell 2000 reached dual peaks this year. First on March 4, it closed at 1,208.65. Then on July 3, it closed at 1,208.15. So far today, it’s been as low as 1,065.75.
